Yeah I see that too. A lot of random jerseys in the crowd. This happens here in the states too where some dickhead wears a Ochocinco Bengals jersey to a Jets/Phins game but fewer between than I'm seeing here. Makes sense in England though. Gotta go see live action while it's there even if your squad isn't playing.
That is the trouble, you don't want to make it so obvious, got to mix and match run and pass to keep the D honest
I am with you. Folks asked me if I was looking forward to giving my girls Jets jerseys when they were born. I said No.
In my experience that's not true. The vast majority are football fans and pretty knowledgeable, but they are not fans of either team playing so not really invested in the result.
I think he sees the field decently, except on PA passes. I don't know, It's a struggle for him right now. Ball placement Is concerning too. For sure.
Got it. That makes the mixed reactions understandable then. It wasn't a knock though because I wouldn't blame people if they weren't fans and wanted to check this out.
Trevon Wesco 6-3 267. Yet every block he makes is diving at their feet. I could do that. Another brilliant Mike Maccagnan draft pick.
I agree with you however: Take the Jags for instance right now. That team is depleted of talent as well. Dysfunctional coaching at its finest. TL is why that team is even doing remotely ok on offense. He is already showing why he was so special. He uses his legs when he needs to, he has consistently improving each and every week with reading defense and decision making. And can make all the "special throws" Zach is making, as well as the boring throws. That's what having a special QB is like: Herbert last year, TL this year, Luck his first year. It just makes it more painful because we were so close to landing him and then we couldn't make difficult choices at the end of last year like sitting Sam. I hope Wilson makes me look bad, I want to be proven so wrong on this. But right now, Zach looks like a QB who needs everything around him to be good before he's even remotely serviceable.
If he does, I hope he has a good financial planner that understands this may be his only big contract.
