Like im not miserable enough I also have to have Darnold play well. Im pretty sure Fields, Trevor, Mac Jones will all be better than Zach. Why? Because everything always goes against us.
The pace of this game is like something out of 1964. I keep expecting to see Red Grange or some other old fuck wandering onto the field.
Why not? Send in the backup offense and just have them take three kneel downs, and always take the snap with one second left on the play clock. They won't have worse offensive production, and the defense will get a longer break.
I think there's some bylaw in the Jets league charter that says they should repeatedly kick their fans in the nuts when it comes to the draft, play calling, etc., and then tell the fans they "know nothing, leave the decisions to the pros"... that have run this team into the ground for the better part of the past 40+ years.
