2003 - Jets and Steelers. It snows for most of the game and neither offense can do jack. Players are slipping and sliding all over the place. The Jets hit 2 FG's in the first half for a 6-0 lead and that's how it stays. Curtis Martin has the slowest 56 yard run I have ever seen in the middle 4th quarter and it changes field position dramatically and probably wins the game for the Jets. Two guys slip and fall chasing Curtis down the field and his legendary balance keeps him plodding along on the snow and ice-covered field. It was the old field-turf tray field that was basically good for catching cleats and causing contact injuries. Today however it was frozen solid and Curtis tackled it like a mountain-climber, just making sure his cleats were engaged on each step before he took the next. The fans would have been on their feet for the entire run except most of them either weren't there in the bitter cold or had frozen to their seats. Steelers fans weren't travelling for that bad team that year although a full fully frozen figures had yellow towels extended stiff in the wind.
