NFL Network hyping up Javonte Williams to the Jets hard right now. Said he’d be the guy that would make it hard for the Jets to trade out. I can absolutely get on board with that.

we have bigger needs. we have coleman, ty, and adams plus could add a guy like hawkins in the 6th who fits us perfectly.

I forgot that we get 15 minutes of NFL pandering before the picks start.

only way that happens is if we get nothing back this year and I wouldn't go for that personally. We need to make another pick or 2 in the 2nd and 3rd rounds

If you’re referencing the NFL Newton segment... I took that more as teams trying to convince the Jets to trade out.

Rounds 4-7 had a plurality of the 2020 conference championship game starters? Wow.

i think you meant to quote the trade down post?

it's possible but JD always fields the calls. hopefully someone gives him an offer he can't refuse.

For sure. 34 just becomes and instant starter for us and could help Wilson right away. Would be really hard for me to move on from that considering all the ammo we have next year as well.

Whoops, yes I did. There are players good enough (Jenkins, JOK, Williams) that I'd be fine staying at 34 but also enough talent left after that (Moore, Samuel Jr, Ojulari) that I'd be fine trading down. Basically, there are very few ways we can screw this up.

so could 40 and the 3rd rounder we get back in return
falcons pick right behind us so it would be no loss trading them becuase we wouldn't trade if they wanted out guy
cowboys pick 44 we would get pick 84 back for moving down
panthers pick 39 we could get 73 back

Trade further down into the 2nd and pick up a 3rd. That's what I'd like to see, something like that.

Quit overthinking this. Jenkins should be the pick. We took chances in the first round. Now lets make a safer pick.
