I was apart of the 23% who voted 5-11 or below. A homer? Voting and predicting 3-13? That's when you know shits about to get ugly. Jamal hasn't had enough time to turn Seattle's horrible Defense around. He just arrived. That Seattle Defense was so bad they were willing to give up two first round picks. They now have a baller to build around on Defense moving forward. But look @ our Defense last year with #33 as a First Team All-Pro. He made Gregg Williams look great. Our run defense was #1 and he made every player around him better. He was the heart and soul of this Defense. Now look @ us without him. Look @ how crappy Gregg Williams looks without an All-Pro. Jamal Adams dominated with tackles behind the L.O.S. He single handedly stuffed the run. He had awesome pass coverage ratings for a Safety. He pressured, hit and sacked QBs. He gave our offense a chance to win games by being dominant on defense. He was the only one who played like he cared and gave a damn. I knew our season was over when we traded him away. However. If JD is able to land Trevor Lawrence and use the two 1st round picks on offense to build around Trevor with the "Jamal picks" then it'll be worth it. To finally have an OFFENSE.
I went as far as predicting 1-15. 1996ish. I knew it. I'm a Defensive minded fan. Always have been. Look @ my user name. I don't know about Seattle but I knew what Jamal Adams brought to US on Defense. And I knew without him? 2020 had 0 chance. But I'm no longer Harping over it. I'm hopeful we A. Draft Trevor and B.) Use those Jamal picks on offense X2. This way I can change my user name to OffenseWinsChampionships but yes, so many Jet fans don't understand the importance of a top 5-10 defense such as myself and these types of Jet fans had no idea how ugly our Defense would look without Jamal. He's all we had. But I knew. Sad to say.
Full of fail bra. You underestimated how great Jamal was for US on Defense. Fk Seattle. He just got there. But he was an ALL PRO 1ST TEAM FOR US and without Jamal last year? Our D would have been trash. Just like it is this year WITHOUT HIM. Trash. And Jamal was great at pass rushing the QB with not only sacks but also QB hits. Gregg Williams and especially Maye has became exposed without #33.

I knew what would happen to our entire defense once we traded away YOU KNOW WHO. So much so. Where even as a lifelong "homer" I predicted 3-13 with a chance of a 1-15 1996ish type season disaster.
