I thought the Steelers would take the unpredictable Browns tonight..lol So whats the lesson? Evaluate your talent>>> Taking QBs in Top 10 at #1 (Baker) #7 ( J Allen) and #10 (P Mahomes ) not a bad idea!
They're really doing their best to mess this up. Reminiscent of their three score lead in 2002 over the Steelers (not that I remember said game lol). Browns playcalling on offense is stale. Run, run, six yard stop. No screens to Hunt? No shot plays or slants to Landry?
Yup. Big issue with it is that Ben won't QB sneak. Not sure if that's his call or the teams call. But you fuck your team when your 6'5" 260 pound QB doesn't QB sneak on fourth and one. Al Michaels was right too. Should've went for two last time out. That dropped pick six killed them too.
It just blows my mind that teams still don’t go for it in those situations more. I’ve been pounding sand for years saying that teams should go for it on 4th and 1 on the opposing side of the field every time and now there’s actual analytics backing it up. Obviously there are situations where you should take the points but Tomlin has been awful with his fourth down decision making. Punted from his own 38 down by 28 points in the first half and then punts down 12 in the 4th on a 4th and 1; it’s just mind boggling.
Yeah that was the dumbest thing I've seen all year, and I spent the year watching a team coached by Adam Gase.
He should. He didn't dive for the loose ball. He stood there and watched a Brown dive on it, knock it into the end zone and then the Browns get it and score a TD.
with no Patriots and now the seahawks and steelers both out I pretty much don't mind who wins the SB this year (for the first time in ages) - would like to see the Bills or the Browns do it
