It really is. I'm not in the question Darnold camp at all (yet) but it IS time for him to really lift his leg and leave a real statement at some point. Pulling out some miracle like today would be a hell of a nice time to do so. Another admittedly long shot for Jets salvation today might be Perine. I'm not sure if he's got it in him or not but a guy like that blowing up out of nowhere would be a path to an upset. Its not like the Jets have a whole lot of reasons to not give him a few chances.
I just don't see a magical improvement form last week to this week. Can they play better, you bet. Will they, we shall see but i have very little confidence in the O coaching staff to improve when the game plans are essentially the same week in and week out. Not expecting much but my hope is SAM doesn't get killed back there....
Two or so more games like this I think Gase may get fired in season. Pretty bad - even by jet standards
The defense is as bad as the offense. We gave Williams credit for good performances against bad teams last year but forget how bad they looked against good teams.
fourth quarter down 24 to 6 why is Gase calling play action passes play ??who are you fooling???and on third down with over 10 yards to go 5 yard pass plays?? Yeah brilliant mind at work
It's terrible that they converted it but it's not unheard of when factoring in pass interference calls. It's absolutely DISGUSTING that they converted it on a run play.
