That fake punt call may of been the biggest bone headed decision I have ever witnessed made by an NFL coach.
Down 1 score, 12 minutes to go and pretty deep in your own end. Pretty much gave your chance in the game away on a single play.

 

A single play that was a punt end around that had a non QB with the decision making power in his hands. It was awful.

While the decision was terrible - I also don't understand why the guy didn't 1) throw the ball or 2) cut back where he had more field. It looks like he just gave up. Regardless of how bad the decision was that told me a lot about how the vibe is around the Cowboys. Looks like it would've been hard to convert so the player just conceded.

 

Broncos doesn't have any QBs on their roster against Saints today. Driskel tested positive on Thursday and all of the QB room has been deemed high risk, they've been in close contact without masks. The NFL is reluctant to postpone the game as the Saints are already in Denver, and I guess that the league is making an example of them to obey the protocols concerning the use of masks.

 

Yup. And the game doesn't really matter that much for the Broncos in the grand scheme of things so the league is being douchebags because they didn't out safeguards into place like additional weeks. They're trying to jam this all in. They give the Ravens two postponements in five days and will be screwed if the Steelers have a spread with James Conner testing positive.

 

Bengals return a KO for a TD.

 

AJ Brown with a 69 yard TD reception, most of it coming on YAC.

 

Mayfield with two very bad passes on a first-and-goal series and the Browns settle for a field goal.

 

Jags go ahead of the Brownies on a long TD pass by Glennon. Jacksonville winning this game would be so delicious for so many reasons.

 

Derrick Henry with 120 yards rushing in the first half.

 

Make that 140 yards and 3 touchdowns for Henry in the first half.

 

Jones throws for a 1st down on 3rd and 2, but is hurt.

 

Jones back in, but still limping. Now he's back on the sidelines.

 

Some real bad QB play out there today - Murray, Newton, Herbert, B. Allen, Carr, and of course Darnold have all been anywhere from pretty bad to putrid.

 

The 4-7 Giants are now in 1st place. We'll see how long that lasts.

 

Pats beat the Cards on a FG as time expires.

 

Jags played tough but couldn't make a stop at any critical point in the game. Browns win.

JAX vs Titans next week so no chance there.

 

Buffalo DBs are really bad at Hail Marys.

And then idiot Chargers call a run play with less than 20 seconds left with no timeouts down 10 points, pretty much guaranteeing they can't win.

 

Bad miss on the late FG attempt for Carolina and Minnesota wins after trailing by 11 in the 4th quarter.

 

Reid wearing a mask instead of a face shield. First time I've seen it that way.
