2020 NFL Week 11: New York Jets @ Los Angeles Chargers (4:05 PM)

I don't know. Flacco looked pretty good last week. You never know I guess.

 

Flacco will probably beat LAC knowing our luck.

 

Imagine winning because of Flacco, Gore, and Perriman.

TGG is talking so much about Flacco, Gore, and Harbaugh it's like the 2013 Super Bowl again.

 

I don't like these late games. I'll be up until gone midnight to watch us lose, or win and bugger up the no. 1 pick.

 

I have faith that after a bye week, we will come out even more flat and out of synch than usual.
We will be down by 14 at the end of the first quarter.

If Bosa plays, I don't see us winning, if he doesn't we will have a shot.

The reason Flacco played so well vs. the Pats was he had all day to throw. The Chargers can't get home without Bosa...

 

Just face it. We will lose. That will be a win for the franchise

probably true...while other teams seem to use the bye week to regroup and develop a great game plan, we always seem to suck out loud coming off a bye

 

Does anyone know what our record is after the bye week historically?

 

The Chargers are (2-7) but it is a misleading record. They have only beaten the Bengals and Jaguars, which is not impressive, but they have been close ALOT!

-Took the defending Champion Chiefs to OT in Week 2.
-Played the Buccaneers strong in a 38-31 loss.
-Another OT loss against a great Saints team Week 5.
-Lost to the Broncos on the last play 31-30.
-The following week lost to the Raiders by not converting on the last play, 31-26.

They are (2-7), but they are a far superior team to the Jets.

A bit worried about this game - fingers crossed our boys come through with a nicely terrible performance - I have faith in them to do so

 

Without looking it up, I recall the Rex Ryan era teams for whatever reason laying an egg after the bye.....

 

In the last 20 years they are 4-11 in LA, Oakland and Seattle but 4-2 in San Diego

 

Kalen Ballage is their RB1 right now. How perfect is that? He is going to get 150+ yards against the Jets. What a season. Joey Bosa is back from a concussion too. Things are trending up for the Chargers right now.

 

But can he pick up our blitz?!

 

I've been interested in watching Herbert so I've seen a lot of their last few games. Apparently, if you don't ask him to block, Ballage is pretty good.

 

I believe the statistic is that only two teams have not lost by 7 points or less - the Chargers and the Steelers.
