I actually feel compelled to point out the throws were often there week 1. Herndon just clanked them.
Of the two absolutely I pick A. Because at least if they accidentially win one of the last two games, Darnold putting together a string of decent non-dumpster fire games will give us SOME damn glimmer of hope he finds something under a real NFL coach.
Use the 3rd time out also before the 3rd qtr is over. Who would have thought it pays to have a fucktard as a coach?
I know it’s been said before, but it’s quite mind blowing that gore has 17 carries while averaging only 2.3 ypc. What other coach runs that same back with the same inefficiency? And to top it off, he’s 37, in a meaningless game, when we have young players to develop. This is a fireable offense in itself.
Nah this is exactly like Geno Smith, only light it up the last game of the year when nobody gives a shit against the Dolphins.
WTF? DArnold walked up to the LOS like he had all the time in the world and then looked like the "play" was "Call T.O."!
Time to call a Schottenheim-ian reverse. The ones Schotty would inexplicably call when the offense was humming along, and then we'd lose like 15 yards on an unnecessary reverse.
Gase is just more forward thinking than anyone else. Timeouts are overrated. Where football is going, you don't need them.
Honestly though I get the strategy, they're trying to shorten the game and shorten the # of possessions against a superior team, and Gore's more of an inside runner. But yeah Ty Johnson should be getting more of these carries.
