I don’t think anyone on this board hates Sam or is rooting for him to fail, however the Jet fans that have seen all three years of his QB play have come to realize that he’s not the FQB that he was touted to be, many highly touted qbs have not lived up to their hype.
Good route running can be learned. Hands can be improved. Speed CANNOT be taught. If this is who Mims is we're in trouble. Until the Jets come to the realization Mims has zero speed we'll see what we're seeing. Deep balls, balls going the way to a player with no ability to get any kind of seperation from a defender or make big plays after the catch.
