Every good team starts with a good offensive line. At the end of the day Darnold could be awful or he good be decent but there is no way to properly evaluate him when he's running for his life every play. This is especially true when the coach is total dog shit with poorly devised schemes and a total inability to make any adjustments. We should have been drafting offensive linemen for years instead of DT after DT. There's zero point in talking about Darnold or getting a new QB when we don't have a line to put him behind.
