Does regime change actually hurt a QB? It's a common talking point, but I don't see much evidence backing it up. Sure, there's a correlation between regime change and failure, but that could easily be because the failure causes the regime change and not the other way around. And even if regime change has a negative effect, it may still be better than sticking with a flawed coach.
This is the sort of thing where I think you have to look at it empirically because there's really no other way to know what's right.
Quarterbacks struggle early in new systems. Alex Smith and Marcus Mariota are both good examples of damaged goods top flight picks who change offensive philosophies every other year for the beginning of their career. There are others. Continuity is important.
Well I certainly do have a problem with Gase's game plans and play calling. I stand by the results hes achieved to support that conclusion. But I've also said he's a bad HC because of the other issues. We will continue to be at opposite poles on this.
My wife finds the only Patriots sports bar in So California to watch this cripple fight In case anyone is wondering, pats fans are insufferable frontrunning douchebags on the west coast as well
Right. While citing zero examples other than 'results.' What's the issue with the game plan today? Besides "everything."
Not making excuses for Sam but this weather will make any QB look bad - wet and cold and handling a football is not a good combo.
He's really Mr. Coverage sack/pressure isn't he? Good football player but we can't break the bank for him.
How about abandoning what was working on the first series? How about the Wildcat call on 3rd down? How about no attempts down field? Or is that all on Loggains?
I'd just laugh if they give this back to the Bills. What else can you do at this point? Might as well be entertained...
