Darnold hasn't looked good today, but the mostly conservative play calling has been the real issue Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Or rush 3, 2 deep safeties and man up everyone else. Just a horrible defensive call by Greg Williams and bad execution from Austin.
Thought I was going crazy - then I saw this from the NFL rulebook: Section 3 Unsportsmanlike Conduct Article 1 There shall be no unsportsmanlike conduct. This applies to any act which is contrary to the generally understood principles of sportsmanship. Such acts specifically include, among others: ... REMOVAL OF HELMET (h) Removal of his helmet by a player in the field of play during a celebration or during a confrontation with a game official or any other player.* ... Penalty: (for a through h): Loss of 15 yards from succeeding spot or whatever spot the Referee, after consulting with the crew, deems equitable. Then I saw the fine print: *Except when playing the New York Jets.
I had to work today so I missed the first half on tv I was able to catch the final 7:00 or so of the first half on the radio on the drive home. Jets were up 10-0 when I tuned in from that point on it was a disaster. It sounds like a Steelers home game. Stinkin' Darnold and his ball protection issue again. Defense choking again. I hope I didn't miss the fun part of this game.
The game is over. Pittsburgh wins The 2nd half will be a cavalcade of Williams blitzes being picked up. Penalties on the Jets, huge Pittsburgh chunk plays
I cant watch this fucking O line anymore either. we cant pick up a running first down when we need 2 yards. The strip sack is entirely on them.....its such fucking garbage
you just knew we were going to cough up the ball somehow on that last drive we had the same way you knew they were going to score - this team is a disaster in every aspect from the coaching through to the players and everything surrounding it
He hasn't looked bad. But the fumble was unforgivable. If he has better ball security it's 10-3 Jets. It's about to be 17-10 Steelers
I thought the same thing. The bogus holding call on the return and then that missed call. There’s always a few terrible calls or missed calls in most Jet games it seems.
just when I think that this team cannot be more frustrating or depressing it finds ways to plumb new depths
Why is it whenever the Jets knock an opposing QB out of the game the backup carves then up like thanksgiving turkey? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
