The Jets definitely have all sorts of deficiencies but the penalty discrepancy is out of control. Essentially every time the Jets have a good play it's called back for some borderline call.

Another SOJ loss. Number three by my count for Gase in only his first season as HC. The disaster against Buffalo, losing to winless Miami and now getting manhandled by winless Cincinnatti.
For all I know, Darnold could go full out ghost and throw multiple INTs in the 4th quarter. But up to this point, I'm not sure what he could have done differently. He's under pressure, the receivers are dropping passes, and the only time a play is available it's because someone's committing a penalty.
