You're diving really deep into semantics but it really all falls on the general manager since we don't know what scout influences what. As a whole, the talent evaluation (minus under the radar signings and trades) has been horrible. The mid-round picks have netted us almost nothing. You can't trash the GM's but defend the scouts. You can argue that the scouts bigger jobs is to find mid round players. Not to mention, this team was in much better position when Bradway was at the helm making personnel decisions as well as Mangini.
The Johnsons are meddling owners. Not in the football operations but in the hiring process. They keep pairing coaches and GMs together rather than putting one guy (either a GM or coach) in charge and letting him run the team. And Chris took it a step further by getting involved in choosing the new coach's staff, which is why Rhule bailed on us.
I'm probably looking forward to this game more than any other this season. Should be a good tight game
Excited for the game again. Hoping that Sam keeps making the right choices, I'm still concerned almost every time he drops to pass that he makes a bad decision that ends up picked off. I don't think it should be the case anymore if he indeed is our franchise QB.
Can’t wait to win three in a row!..My wife is so excited because I told her that if they win today, I’m taking her out to dinner tonight and she can order the ten piece...and we’ll sit inside too.
Given the past couple of decades, I thought there was a law that prevented a Raiders/Jets game from being a Jets home game...
