That is irrelevant. They have an opportunity to get a first there and they moved the ball well on the first drive. It makes no sense just to flat out give up on a drive.
That and I want to see him perform at this level in meaningful games. Last week and this week he's playing with house money.
It makes perfect sense because it was easy to force the Redskins three and out, and we're now driving into their territory. And Darnold is notorious for throwing interceptions when he gets it in his head he has to make a play.
OK, so I come home for my break from work just in time to see the TD from Shoe Booty to Brown. Woooo, nobody here but us Jets! I still hadn't taken my coat off because I had to pee really bad, so I run to the bathroom, and when I get back it's Jets 6 - 0 and the Redskins have the ball. I could feel the chunks rising.
The difference in explosiveness between Bell & Powell is easy to see. Powell still has it. One of the most underrated & underused Jets in recent memory.
