I guess how we got here can certainly be criticized and even made to look appallingly bad with the benefit of hindsight but now that we're here I feel like probably the best thing to do is just bend over and take the beating as all these players the Jets could desperately use evaporate over the next 30+ picks, do the best you can and focus on making the 3rd rounders count. And hope to got Q really turns out to be a superstar lineman because he seems to be a much better player than he is a fit for the Jets right now. That's the problem with drafting him. If he's anything less than a magnificent 10/10 bullseye it was a terrible pick given the Jets needs at edge and OL. I'll concede that maybe it was a half dozen picks too high on rating boards but when Sam Darnold trots onto the field next season I don't give a crap about rating boards. I'd feel a lot better with Jonah Williams trotting a few paces ahead of him.

I like him a lot but C is more important. if mccoy or jenkins is there when we pick that has to be the pick for us. after jenkins there is a big drop off with mcgovern. we also need to address CB, OT, EDGE so a WR isn't in the cards this draft
