This team has the heart of a lion ! Could easily have packed it in especially when they when Pitt took the lead early in the 3rd period . Just think if we did not get jerked with that penalty in OT in game 3 ? We could be up 3-1 but I would have signed up for 2 - 2 ! Its a 3 game series my friends ,,,great win! Very conflicted Ranger fan here.....as you would expect rooting against the Islanders (particularly because i grew up during the dynasty era) is in my DNA.........but also like seeing the Penguins sweating it out and getting their asses kicked too. bottom line is I guess I want the Isles to move on if the Rangers do as well...........but not if the Rangers get KO'ed. Very tough loss,,,the goaltending change helped them big time as the isles had a few good scoring opportunities in the 1 st period alone. The second goal Nabokov gave up was a killer,,,,,but it really did not matter as all the pens needed was 1 goal. Hopefully we can get back to Pitt for a game 7,,,,,,,but we have to get some goals in game 6
The next Isles hit on Cindy, will be the first. And thers no reason to not be slaughtering Malkin, and that dirty fuck Letang.
