Stokes, I have seen this team squander some pretty big leads, it's never over with them.

It's going to be tough holding down the Lightning, glad the isles got one on the road. It's weird that the NHL did not wait for game 7 of Ducks and Preds to be finalized before starting a second round of playoffs.

Wow....... surprised at this team going up 1-0. They still seem to be a couple players short of being a serious contender but you can't argue with the impressive W's

Fuck yeah...... came out and set the tone. Granted you could see some tired legs in the 3rd after that last series they played.
Luckily 2 days rest. Hopefully that wasnt just Tampa shakin off the rust.

    GREISS IS NICE! Liquid Swords

    LETS GO ISLANDERS!!!

I watched it, first period looked like a pick up team was playing defense for the islanders, so sloppy I could not believe what I was seeing.

Defense again not hitting anyone, letting Bolt players skate around in from of the net without paying the price.

I understand it's the players they have, Other than the 4th line, the rest of the forwards are afraid of contact.

The isles Power Play was bad, no movement, they had chances to get back in the game and just could not do it.

Winning game 2 could have been a real change of perception for the organization. Before last week we hadn't won 2 playoff games in a row this century, and could have completely turned that fortune with a 4 game winning streak yesterday. I'm not panicked about the series, but what that could have meant for this team being able to put together substantial playoff winning streaks could have been great.

It does not help that Capuano is still changing lines every game and does not allow for chemistry to take place with some of the younger players.

It's a catch 22. The more we succeed the longer he's here.

Isles just need someone besides Tavares to step up. Who will that be? We don't know yet.

The first game it was prince and Strome, their PP has been atrocious, I don't know who sets it up, but they should be fired. 5 PP opportunities and they can't take advantage.

There you go - whatever happens he's still going to be the same crappy coach he's always been. They succeed despite him, not because of him.

Islanders have played well at home and Tampa has not played well on road trips against the Islanders ,,,hopefully this all continues tonight ! I hope the Islander power play starts clicking as that would help tremendously .
    Lets Go Islanders !!!

Wow. The NHL really needs to rethink the number of teams that make the playoffs these days. The Islanders are just not a good hockey team.

Good guys lost in O T ,,,losses don't get much worse than this one ! If they had buried one or two of the countless chances it would not have been close,,,letting Tampa score with less than a minute left was terrible ,,,like I said this is a horrific loss!
