Really impressive game last night. I like how the Islanders came out looking great in the 2nd, then the defending Champions fought back in the 3rd, but the Isles were able to hold them off in the last second for a 3-2 win. Series tied 2-2. Both teams have a lot of heart and a lot of will. Best of 3 now, and it is truly a toss up. Tampa has home ice, but New York has already won a game there. Exciting stuff! Wow, what terrible play. This might be the worst 15 minute stretch for the team of the entire playoffs.
And another horrible turnover leads to another odd man advantage and eventually another goal. This game is over.
As bad as this is and it sucked the series is still winnable. Go win one home game and then anything can happen in a game 7. But they need to score the first goal. This series has shown whoever scores first has a big advantage.
Isles push this to 7 and all the pressure will be on the Lightning. We are in fine shape. Not ideal but fine.
I think the Isles come out and play a great game tonight. They were smoked in Game 5. They are facing elimination. If this is the last game at Nassau then they will do everything they can to win it. Will it be enough? TB is really good and talent wise they are the better team. I hope the Isles can find a way to win and get this to a game 7 on Friday night. Anything can happen in Game 7 as all the pressure will be on TB. Anyway LGI.
