As they just said, they don't really have a backup (and barely have a #1).

I think you'd be better than Jarry's been back there tonight, Jeff. Would be worth it regardless of who the loser is on the bench.

Hey, should I be flattered or insulted by that remark?;)

I think they genuinely think that the team would view putting in the backup as raising the white flag, which really is an indictment of the Pens' GM. Your third-string goalie can't be that bad, especially when your #1 isn't that great.

Could be. It's a better situation bringing Brobovsky in but the Panthers did it in Game 3 and came back and won.

Uncalled cross-check against Crosby (sorry, Butchie, that was a penalty), and then terrible call against the Isles on an invisible elbow.

Amazing how Penguins are allowed to tackle Beauvillier in front of the goal with no call.

    That's it!

Very happy about the series win, of course, but they'll have to play a lot better to beat Boston - Rask is a lot better than Jarry.

That was certainly fun to watch. Very encouraging to see how they won this series; games they were outplayed but won, games they came back in, being down in a series and coming back.

I will say the Isles will have to be a lot better. Rask is a better goalie than Jarry.
