Well, that was also a pathetic performance, but it was in a completely different way, so at least they've got that going for them.

It's time to rebuild. Last year's run to the ECF was the best we will get from this group. Players like Bailey, Clutterbuck, Leddy, Cizikas, Martin will never see a Cup here. Our cap is ****, we have to much dead wood on the roster like Komarov, MDC, to name a couple. This is a BS season anyway. 56 games, empty arena's, playing only your division. If there was ever a season to **** the bed and miss the playoffs then this is it. At this point we need the high draft pick to get some highly skilled talent here which we badly need. I don't want to see them make the playoffs just to get bounced in Rd 1 or Rd 2. I have seen that scenario play out to many times. I hate saying "tank the season" but unless we can sign some top FA's which we historically fail at then the draft is the way to go.

I have been as fair as possible to Lou and Trotz, however this is on both of them, Lou made an attempt to get Panarin as FA and as soon as that did not work out he panicked and signed Eberle and Anders Lee.

Lou should have let those guys walk and brought up Hosang, Bellows, Walstrohm, and said Barry, figure out which one of these 3 can take up the 2 spots that we just let go.

At some point the evidence can’t be any clearer, this is a physically deficient team, they have had the same problems since Trotz and Lou took over.

I know they made playoff and I’m not unappreciative of that as a fan, but in order to get over the threshold and make cup finals and win it, changes need to be made.

    That was a disappointing point.

Can't score if their lives depended on it. Why is MDC playing? He plain sucks yet Trotz keeps putting him in. Czarnik??? Really?

And the Isles continue to get stoned on shots every other team makes. Mayfield has to make that wide open shot. And then they basically give up the identical shot for the GW.

Isles-Sabres game tonight postponed because the storm changed travel plans, which mess up COVID contact tracing and protocols. We live in very strange times.

The Devils are having issues with Covid and they just played Buffalo. All NJD games have been postponed until Saturday.

Isles finding a way to keep a game close that they should be up at least 2.

Pretty poor play for long stretches, but I'll take the W.

Pretty well? He bailed out multiple defensive lapses.

Refs tried their best to get the Rangers the win.

I said REALLY well ,,,lol. That said we all know that this team is in desperate need of scoring and hopefully they can swing a deal or 2 before the deadline to help out the best coach on the planet and then we can stop trying to win every game 1-0 or 2-1. It's always a good win when we beat those guys

The defensive mistakes are equally as concerning as the offense. They are constantly just slapping at the puck and turning it over.

that being said I’ve been impressed by both Dobson and Wahlstrom. As they continue to progress the offense will hopefully improve.

Losing both Towes and Boychuk is probably a bigger loss to the D than they thought it would be.

Spectacular goal for Barzal. That's the kind of thing he hasn't done for most of his career - go to the net and use his skills to shoot, rather than pass. Cizikas with a fantastic goal on an individual effort in the first period as well.
