Yeah, they were clearly outplayed by a wide margin. Varly deserved the happy slide after the goal. They can't keep failing to clear the puck from their own zone and losing all the battles along the boards and expect to win another one.

Payback for the last second loss but they don't have the horses to compete with the Lightning. They need someone to keep pressure off Barzal, he has zero room to operate. Its been a nice run and maybe they get lucky and force game 7 but if Point is back for game 6 its over unless they can draw penalties and the PP coach realizes you cannot skate the puck in against them, they dare you to skate it in, different style than the Devils in their heyday but just as effective in denying the entry.

What a great win. I thought Tampa would close them out last night but the Isles played well and got some breaks to get the win. At 3-2 Tampa has to be feeling some pressure. You know they don't want any part of a game 7 so I expect Tampa to bring their "A" game tomorrow night. LGI!!!!

Great win last night! It's funny, people around the NHL were tweeting about how Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final would be Thursday. It always is fun for me to cheer for an underdog and when I was reading those posts, it made me want the Isles to win even more. Now this morning I am reading how it will start Saturday. They really keep counting the Isles out. Odd, because this is a team that just won't go away!

One game at a time. Trotz was down 3-2 in the ECF against the Lightning in 2018 too. You never know........

Hoping the Isles can force a game 7 where anything can happen. But win or lose this has been a great playoff run. LGI!!!

Before this series started a buddy of mine asked me, who wins more games the Isles in the rest of the playoffs or the Jets. I was leaning Isles. If they win tonight I am sure of it.

Just said on the pregame Pelech is out. Great out best D-man is out. Dobson taking his place. Point was out there in the pregame skate. Looks like he will play. I think this is to much to overcome . Probably ends tonight. Hope I am wrong.

So many unnecessary penalties. On to OT with still 3 1/2 minutes left in the double minor.

And Barzal writes the appropriate ending to the season with a weak giveaway that leads to the goal that ends it.
