Again they don't shoot on the great chance, and eventually take a penalty.

20 minutes to determine the season? Hard to see them coming back from down 3-1 against this team.

these extra passes are just so predictable and annoying at this point. Just shoot the damn puck!

The ice is just tilted one way - they're simply not as good as Tampa Bay.

    Barzal's line just can't defend

Can't blame the goalie for this series.

I think I’ve been optimistic and realistic about this team in the playoffs. When we took the lead my first thought was if we are going to win this game, it’s going to be 1-0.

those back to back goals in 12 seconds deflated me. I left the game on but stopped watching.

now I’ve turned it off. Probably won’t watch Tuesday.

    it was a good run.

They're right - that was a pathetic lack of defensive effort by Barzal. Arbour was able to get Bossy to backcheck - Trotz hasn't been able to get Barzal to do it.

Barzal's effort, or lack thereof, has been absolutely horrendous

This isn’t last year’s finesse, high scoring Lightning team. I think we’ve run out of gas against a team that’s fresher and looking to play a physical game; very similar to the 80 Isles when they realized m it was going to take a more physical approach to finally win.

I think he's gassed, and his shifts were too long (the one true scoring threat)... serious drop off in his performance, and I'm guessing the dings are adding up. Very disappointing day, esp after switching from one of the shittier opening day JETS performances I remember

TB is just a better team. Proud of the Isles and the run they had to the ECF but I expect tomorrow night it will end.

Nice start so far. Got a PPG and 1-0 lead.

Love Emrick's comment about how Flyers fans wish there had been replay to overturn an offside goal in 1980, throwing in "Most of you have no idea what I'm talking about." We oldtimers do, Doc! And I was there when Butch Goring brought that puck in offside and fed Duane Sutter for the big goal that shouldn't have counted.

Terrible double minor high stick by Beauvillier with 1:23 left. If this doesn't do it either here or in OT it will be a miracle.
