You could see it coming - they had no pressure in the offensive zone the last 3 or 4 minutes.

The icings are crippling for this team.

They were dead tired because of the icing and paid the price...:(

This is a foreign feeling as an Islanders fan — to be hugely disappointed in a loss but still expecting us to win the series.

This is where a big time or two big time forwards help us close out the series. I’m happy they have done well, but in two OT games where the Flyers were reeling after allowing Isles to get back into the games, if we had those type of forwards we close out the series.

I have no issues when teams are desperate and throw everything they have at the Isles, they can’t be expected to shut everyone down, but having guys that can close out a series is what they are missing.

My fear is the contracts they have given to guys like Eberle and Anders lee are going to hamstring them and not allow them to sign someone that can help them.

Let’s get this done Isles, finish them off!!!

When the series started I predicted the Isles in 6. It would have been nice to win last night but Philly is a good team so I expected a long series. Want no part of a game 7. I think the Isles will play like they played game 5 against the Caps and bring their "A" game for game 6. What I am encouraged about is the Isles played poorly in games 4 and 5 and yet they still won one of them and could have won the other. The Isles are the better team IMHO but they need to show it in game 6.

Ha, yep. Hard to remember how shitty I thought they were in March.... o_O

I was still bummed they didnt close it out last night. They need to come out with the guns blazin next time and not "go through the motions" in the first period again.

Let's hope tonight is the night the Isles finish them. Need a better start tonight. I expect (hope) they come out on fire tonight. LGI end this in 6

If they don't turn this around quickly, not only is this game over, but probably the series, too.

Islanders are in big trouble....it's gonna be a tough game 7 if they get blown out here.

I don't see them winning game 7 if they lose today. It's going to be a Jets style colossal choke job.

Finally started skating in the last 4 minutes of the period. Cut the lead to 1, but they need to come out much stronger in the second period.

Shitty start and only down by 1? I’ll take it.

Vigneault really seems to be clueless about when not to challenge a goal against. Islanders HAVE to make them pay right now.

They're suddenly running around, and boom, a goal ties it up.
