Wow, just wow, the young kids put this team in second place and as soon as the veterans came back, they pushed the young kids out and took the team out of playoff contention.

This team will stay intact as is because of the stupid contracts that have been given out.

Trotz said that Walhstrom needed to learn how to play the game and that’s why he was sent back to bridgeport, what has he seen in the veterans that make them worthy of keeping their spots?

The veterans dropped the team out of playoff contention, they should be shipped out as soon as possible.

We played our best hockey of the season with Wahlstrom and Bardreau in the lines. This seems to be the common coaching practice of fearing young player mistakes and trusting your veterans not based on their play just the comfort of their experience. Even Trotz isn’t immune to this practice.

but if we weren’t going to play these guys this year we should have traded them last season when we had a legit chance at a playoff run. Seems to be a disconnect between Lou and Trotz with this.

It seems like this team will never win again. I can't remember the last game they won. The only reason this team is still in the playoff race is their 7 game losing streak is 0-3-4. So they have managed 4 points to stay close. It would be nice if this team could win a game once in a while.

I’m just saying, I wouldn’t be all that upset to see the season take a break.

Well, postponed for now, but I can’t see them playing the Cup Finals in July. There’s a real chance the season is going to end right here.

Good need is if they restart right into the playoffs, and use a point percentage instead of points, due to unequal games played, Isles would be in.

According to the posters at Islandermania.com that is exactly what the NHL will do. The Jackets have 81 points but only 12 games left. The Isles have 80 but 14 games left. If their is no regular season and assuming they can get the playoffs started the Isles would be in because of the higher winning percentage. First round date with Boston. It will be like watching the majority of the Jets-Pats games over the last 20 years only this time the NY team gets its ass kicked on the ice.

I can't see any choice other than using win percentage, but I also can't bring myself to care.
