5-2 now but still same 3 goal lead movie. Hoping they can keep going. Caps will make a big push at some point.
Tonight's game against the Flyers is bigger than last night. I believe the game is being broadcast nationally on NBCSN ( no MSG tonight). Busy night on the scoreboard as well with 3 games of interest. 1. Flyers at Isles - Isles win hopefully 2. Canes at Stars - Stars win hopefully 3. Pens at Lightning - TB win hopefully. If the above all happen then the Isles move 3 points ahead of WC 2 Philly and 5 points ahead of 9th place Carolina. We also close the gap on Pitt. Also would move back into the Metro top 3 as the Jackets are off. LGI
Nah, as soon as I saw Johnston in, I told my son there was going to be a fight in this game. Johnston did not disappoint. Too bad the ref saved the Caps' player
Petro I would have dressed Bellows and either not dressed Johnston or if they were going to do what they did I would have not dressed Martin. I think we played well but TDK's goalie did not have a great night,,,he helped
Nice win fellas. The Isles played a strong 3rd period this time against the Capitals. The Caps have been embarrassing to watch since returning from the All-Star break. Now a 7-2 loss to the Flyers and a 5-3 loss to the Isles both at home? Awful. Hopefully they snap out of it and improve their D, or they will be easily 1 and done come playoff time.
Pittsburgh is erupting like mount krakatoa, no way Bolts beat the Pens. Won’t surprise me to see Pittsburgh at the top of the standings by end of season.
At this point I’d expect the Pens to win the division. we’ve played well against the Caps this season so it wouldn’t disappoint me if we held onto the 2nd/3rd Place slot and played them instead of the Pens. the Bolts have been the best team in the league since December; no reason to believe they are outmatched against the Pens at this point.
we can really use another goal if not lets spread it out and play keep away for the next 17 and a half minutes lol
