Isles have a great coach, great system, structure, something the Rangers don't have, but they could use more skill
Lou Lamorello offered Panarin big money but re-signed Eberle after Panarin chose the Rangers. He knows he needs a scorer but his options are very limited right now.
Trade deadline is Feb 24th. Nothing is going on right now but Lou really needs to make a move to improve the offense otherwise we have no shot at going anywhere in the playoffs assuming we make it. We probably will but the standings are close. Tonight at Nassau against the worst team in league Red Wings better be 2 points. I don't even want to think about a different outcome.
It would not be horrible if the Redwings blow us out,,,,,don't get me wrong I want the win but a loss to this team 3 games into a brutal stretch would put us ohhhh and 3 and might light a much needed fire under Lous ass and force him to make a deal. BTW I love Dobson and he will be a stud, the injury to Pelech will allow Dobson to play more and gain experience but IMO so many OTHER guys on this team are trade able and you have to give up something to get something. I would not hesitate to trade Sorokin if there is interest and we can get a legit scorer but its not up to me its up to old man Lou who IMO has the patience of a saint but it is now bordering on being asleep at the switch

JB what u said is sooooooooo sadly true. My brother offered me 4 tickets to tonights game but I don't want to battle the traffic and sit there begging for the team to score more than 2 goals against the damn Redwings so I said no thanx. I get that there is plenty of time left until the deadline but IF there is a move out there to be made than my suggestion to Lou is pull the Effing trigger.

Let's hope tonight's rematch with NYR goes better than Monday. Really need the 2 points here as the Isles have a tough weekend coming up. Saturday vs the Caps and Sunday at Carolina. They really cant afford to slip up against a non-playoff team like the Rangers.

They can’t score, they can’t skate, they can’t get separation. This is the team we expected last year.
they get chances but the can not score because NONE of these guys are scorers--> Eberle has had few real good opportunities but again the team lacks a finisher or three
