Hope the Isles don't suffer a letdown tonight against a bad Devils team. Coming off a big win at Washington and a Saturday night game at Toronto up next could make tonight a tough game if the Isles play down to their competition. The Devils beat the Bruins the other day so they are capable of being a pain in the ass. LGI. Also tonight's game is on NBCSN.

Petro the only thing worse than watching the game is IF you actually attended it and thank fully I did NOT. Yes we are all Happy that they beat TDK's CAPS but these losses to teams like the Ducks and Devils and these 1 goal games are just draining especially when they are 1 goal losses and getting blown out by the freaking Blackhawks = UGH ! Lou enough already ENOUGH pull the F ing trigger and get this team some offense this is pathetic !
Petro you are correct--the power play is ohhh for their last 10 or 11 and they scored 1 goal in the last 7 or 8 periods.
I thought Sorokin was the crown jewel in the organization. Who knows if this is true but if it is at least Lou is looking to improve the team.
I still do NOT believe he will come over and I would definitely trade him for scoring,,,,,,I have read about how talented he is that said I think Mitch Korn could coach Brook to play well

Defense was there, goaltending was there, offensive attitude was there, goals not so much. I said last year that this team reminds me of the pre-Bossy 1970s teams - good enough to worry any team, but not good enough to ultimately beat the best of them. Unfortunately they're playing like the pre-Trottier team, which really doesn't have a chance without loads of magic.
you cannot turn players into goal scorers you either can score or you cant and this is the same team from last year and THEY CANT. The system Trots plays and coaches is excellent and Korn is a tremendous goalie whisperer but unless this team gets some offense via a trade they aint going anywhere. Nice win but then again most of them are but it seems every game even the victories are a grind. We have seen what happens to teams that play like this down the stretch and they are spent come playoff time. Lou pull the trigger and make the moves soon or just wake me up when they move to Belmont and the GM starts to do things.
I was actually going to watch this in a bit as I am recording it,,,but I think its great that they scored 2 and would be even better if they can score 2 more
