Another great Islanders win! Imagine if they had a great Power Play? They would be unstoppable. I was worried not scoring on all those chances would cost them, but they dominated the Pens most of the game. Great effort.
I would settle for a good PP. I’m already hearing it from my friends who are Penguin fans. The Pens have not played well, they have not shown up this series. Crosby must have some kind of undisclosed injury he’s working through....etc I had to walk away.
Well be prepared to walk away some more Menace as your friends can expect more of the same in the remaining games. Its true Crosby is suffering -------> from something called Barry Trotz coaching.This is when the opposing team plays defense clutters the ice and leaves little if any room for the opposition.
Need you to watch the game, you should have seen Cindy ripping an islanders player helmet off his head as player was engaged with another Penguins player.
Penguins fans are so annoying to deal with. Said the same when the Caps beat them last year. Their minds can't comprehend that there is a possibility that others teams are actually better than the Penguins. And this year: many teams are, including the Islanders. I don't know what is off with the Penguins, but whatever it is: I hope they do it 2 more times.
Pens are the only team I hate on par with the Leafs. I’m pleased how well we’ve managed to play so far but I’ll have no relief until they are dispatched.
It's only two games, but .... I've said all along how this Isles team reminds me of the 1974-1975 team, but these two games remind me of the last time they went up 2-0 in a series - the 1982-1983 team. The Oilers had the exact same stunned reaction that anyone was able to stop them, and the exact same chippy response. And then the Islanders proceeded to beat them the next two games too. A little distant replay sounds good to me!
Im very curious to see how the Islanders respond today now that they are on the road and that Cindy and the girls have their backs to the wall. I am also curious to see if they make the switch away from Murray as to me that would be telling as I do not feel that he has played badly at all in fact I think he has played rather well. 5 hours till gamete = LGI
