I have had this conversation about a dozen times today. The buzz around him in this city is insane.
On the other hand I truly believe you're built to win the pennant. Should be a great summer in the Bronx.

 

Great Yankees win, but I have to say: Is there any Pro team in the 4 major sports FURTHER away from a championship than the Orioles? Living down here I see them a lot, and I just think they have 0 hope. Not just for 2019, but for many seasons to come. I feel bad for their fans.

The Yankees looked good today. Need to keep it up and take advantage of these early season games against the O's.

I'm not worried about starting 1-2 or losing 2 out of 3 to the O's. It happens. It's the situational hitting such as with the bases loaded or simply RISP that needs to improve or it'll be another early exit from the playoffs. On the bright side, it's great to see the Sox SP's look awful in Seattle. Something tells me they're not gonna win more than 93 games this year.

 

2 wasted games we may miss at the end of the year

 

Huge wasted opportunity. Embarrassing. It happened last year too against the Orioles. I don't get it.

 

Stanton on the IL with a biceps strain. The roster is dropping like flies.

 

Andujar to the shelf with a shoulder strain. WTF is going on. At this rate, the Yanks will be a AAA team by the end of this month.

 

Gary Sanchez playing himself into a full time DH

 

I'll take the win, but it doesn't feel like one with 2 key players landing on the IL today. Andujar could have season ending surgery according to Bryan Hoch.
