It's concerning that Darnold seems to need SO MUCH support in order to put points on the board....he's going to need to grow leaps and bounds to be a great QB....
Finally, the Jets use their secret weapon against the Bills.. That would be their contagious stupidity..
I don't mean this as argumentative but I'm not sure I see that. All things considered (he's a rookie, shit playcalling/offense, terrible OL, bad snaps and so on) I think he's show an ability to hang in there and claw things forward. Especially when measured against McCown who we "know" is a pretty decent NFL QB and whom hasn't been able to do ANYTHING this season. I think this is a glass half empty vs. half full situation and I'm seeing it half full.
Well if the stat was 3 completes out of 12 throws then that would be on Darnald, 3/4 for 34 is obviously on the OC calling shitty low yard throw plays. It isn't fucking rocket science is it.
I can't even judge. This staff is content putting him in 3rd & Long situations time after time, and doesn't challenge any teams five yards beyond the line-of-scrimmage, combine that with a dysfunctional O-line and dearth of talent at WR... I don't even know what Darnold is. At this point, he might be great, he might be Glenn Foley. We won't even have any idea until we see what they do next season.
