Looks like we open Monday Night on the road. Looking forward to the 8:15 kickoff. At least we won't be getting sick on Thanksgiving watching the Jets. Still can't get the buttfumble out of my head.

Won’t be an 8:15 kickoff. ESPN always does a doubleheader to open MNF so we’ll probably kick around 6:30 with a west coast game following it.

 

Hmmmmm Wonder if Broadway Baker makes his debut under the lights and on the road (both of which, he thrives).

I agree that this is the most likely scenario.

 

It is possible that the QB picked at 3 won't be ready to play in week 1. Not the end of the world to me. Let the rookie force the issue. Many here were clamoring for Petty to start and we found out why they kept him on the bench until McCown went down.

 

For sure. Only scenario the rookie should play week 1 is if he completely dominates the preseason like Wilson did.

 

even IF the kid QB is ready in week 12 good luck starting him or any other rookie at ANY position under Bowels = he does not let the kids play , he plays the vets too a fault, thats his M O

Didn't even factor the doubleheader in. I may have to leave work early if I plan on watching at a bar or home

 

I have my issues with Bowles, but not playing the kids is not one of them.

 

I will be happy to make a gentlemans wager with you after draft night, thats IF they even draft a QB but your point is taken but let me point out Shell was not a starter out of the gate neither was Anderson, neither was Enuwa. I am happy to disagree with you or anyone else or whether or not Bowels is loyal to Vets and plays them to a fault.

 

yeah he needs to get this pass-rush going, its been non-existent for close to 2 years now
