I went when Chad was QB ,,looked forward to the trip for months , we had a lot of fun in JAX, that said the only thing we won that day was the coin toss, we got blown out. I remember the guy next to me telling me what a good team we had and that it was just a bad day, another guy wanted to buy me food at the concession, people were so sweet I got a cavity that day,,,,lol
Fjay ,,I only wish I was at that game with you,,,28-3 would have been bad but,,the game I was at was 2006,,,,Mangini was coach not Herm , and Chad threw 3 INT s and the good guys got shellacked 41-to nuthin ,,,,,,it was tough sitting there ,,but I really do believe we won the coin toss lol
I believe the teams themselves orchestrate the opponents and start times, but the league definitely has some sort of say in the matter as they at the least choose the start times/dates for the nationally televised Preseason games.
Jets at Browns. Book it. It will feature 3 of the top 4 rookies selected in the draft. They likely won't all play in that game, but that is what I think the NFL will hope for.
I did the jets schedule challenge for a chance to win 100k. My first 3 picks are. Browns on road. Miami at home and lions on the road.
Hey GREG Since I am not a season ticket holder my opinion shouldn't carry much weight. I try to go at least 3 games and most of the times I end up with 5-6 games a year. I personally prefer 4:25 PM start if we are home as this gives me plenty of time to enjoy the tailgate and drink at a more reasonable time. So this year I am hoping for at least one 4:25 pm home game. But we shall see.
4:25 is ok as well. But primetime games I usually get home 1:00 or 1:30 in the morning and have to get up at 6:00 to get ready for work. I will deal with it like everyone else but prefer 1:00 games. We usually get there around 8:30 for a 1:00 game and will tailgate after to let the crowd thin out. By time we leave its around 5:30 or so. Plenty of time to tailgate and getting to and leaving MetLife at those times is easy(no traffic).
Last year it was, correct? That was a blessing. When I had season tix back in 2016-17, we were blessed with favorable times as well IIRC.
Last year we had the Bills on TNF but every other game was 1:00. At least I don't remember any 4:05 or 4:25 starts at home in 2017.
