Yeah, that was a beast-mode performance, and shouldve ended in a huge momentum changing upset..... doh
worst part is he HAD the game won for them, and of course someone messed it up for him. If I were Lebron I would be so freaking pissed. 50 points 8 rebs 8 assists
J.R.'s ass shoulda been on the bench BEFORE that anyway. 39 minutes played, 3-10 from the field. a -22 last night. WTF bench this guy already they also had a timeout they shoulda called
That is great. Classic. Funny, yet sad. If you are Pro-Lebron, I could see that maybe. I think the Warriors are a really fun team to watch. Didn't earn the Rockets series win or last night's win though. Not even close. Again, if you love Lebron, maybe. As they have cost him multiple titles. I like Curry and Durant. Klay too. Green is hateable, for sure. I see that point, with Durant, but he truly was their best player and deserved MVP in last year's Finals. Hasn't found that level this playoff run though.
Durant would be the best player on any team other than Cleveland, but that doesn’t mean the Warriors success is directly attributed to him. We have empirical evidence of the Warriors winning a title without him and setting the all time wins record without him. Him being the best player on the Warriors now simply doesn’t equate to their needing him to win. Durant is definitely the least likeable if them all because he acts like he is vital to their success and the team won because of him.
I disagree. I think Curry is the least likeable of them all. I despise that cocky little bitch's personality but I also don't like his style of play. Durant's game, I can respect as an inside&out scorer. I don't care that he signed on with GSW, free agents can go where they want.
I am not pro- or anti-LeBron. This has nothing to do with how they play basketball, which I agree is far more attractive than anything in the NBA since the early-to-mid 1990s. This is about their arrogance and obnoxiousness. I'm an old guy, and I find the constant need to rub your opponents' noses in it to be pathetic. People who think being a good basketball player and preening on the court somehow reflects their toughness are clowns. And of course Green is one of the dirtiest players the league has seen in years.
Obviously the Warriors could win without him as they did, but just watching last year's Finals he was the best player on the Warriors. He carried them to that title. That was their game plan, but he delivered. Choosing to sign with them took credibility away from him for sure, but he is a great player. Yeah, no disagreement from me on all those points. I just remember growing up and the Warriors were the worst team in the NBA. Any time you saw them on your schedule you laughed. So I have been happy to see what they have built and this run they are on. I am not a fan of super teams either, I just enjoy watching Curry and Klay play. Their 3's are amazing to watch. Durant has been a great player since the Sonics drafted him and I enjoy him too. Green, not at all. He really is annoying. Like I also said, they didn't deserve to beat the Rockets or the Cavs last night based on how they played, so that can be annoying for sure. Especially watching how arrogant they acted while doing it.
I can't stand Durant and his beta personality. IMO, he lacks mental toughness. Going gets tough, Durant tends to shy away. Draymond, its a double edged sword for me. This generation's Dennis Rodman, excellent player but man he can really get out of control sometimes. Absolutely loved when he baited Tristan Thompson, I was cracking up.
