He had a decent game 3, but yea he sucks and is a dirty player.. there's a clause that allows the cavs to get out of his contract next offering.... Probably the last year he gets major minutes on a playoff team. Correction: the opt out isn't until after next season... cavs have a lot of bad money... what a poorly run organization
Which is basically saying that he is a bad coach. If something isn't working in a game of that magnitude you try something else, and it's quite amazing that he is willing to say out loud that he doesn't understand that. I expect that his coaching career will flame out pretty quickly once LeBron leaves.
Warriors again look like complete clowns down the stretch. It's hard for me to believe it's the defense of the Rockets, but maybe they really are playing that well.
The Warriors are insufferable and the sooner they fall back to the pack the better. And KD is the worst of the bunch; pointing to his ring finger like he had a thing to do with a team that went to back to back finals and won the most games in NBA history winning a second title.
Eh, going to GS was a chump move and has drastically hurt the NBA's competitive balance, but to be fair, he has easily been their best player since he got there. Curry has been hurt a lot/not as good as he was before KD arrived.
Assuming Chris Paul is ok, the Warriors could very well be in deep shit. The Rockets have now beaten them twice in this series shooting about 30% from 3 (and under 40%, overall). Also, they have now beaten them 5 out of 8 times this year, overall. I still can't fully bring myself to believe that Houston will pull this off, but it's now a distinct possibility. CP3's hamstring injury is huge, though. He needs to be able to play (effectively) by game 7.
There’s no doubt he’s a great player and would be the best player on any team he went to. But the Warriors were favored to win the title last year before he even signed with them and likely would have won it had they kept the exact same team as the year before. He hasn’t made them better, and certainly didn’t make them a championship team. And if they lose this series it reveals he was never a difference maker for that team that could offset injuries from their other stars, who won without him, to keep them at a level they were at without him.
maybe it's rigged. Golden State is clearly the better team. They even played better and still lost. 3 chances to tie or win it in under a minute and they make unforced errors like that? Then Kerr, nevermind showing anger or frustration about blowing it like that, he's saying he "feels great about where they are" right after the game. pleeeassee. I think game 7 is a setup
I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that the Warriors would have beaten the Cavs last year without KD (although, I agree that they likely would have - just as they likely would have the year before had Green not been suspended for game 5). Regardless, there's no question that KD going to Golden State was completely unnecessary, has resulted in an embarrassment of riches, and ultimately, reflects poorly on the NBA (and KD, himself). On that, we totally agree.
Warriors are a better team, but they lacked execution and didn't really have a good plan in that 2nd half. The fact that they didn't give Klay the ball more was a complete and utter crime. 14 shots the entire game and he was really starting to heat up. That's the real reason they lost along with the awful turnovers.
if you were gonna subtlety rig a basketball game you would keep the ball away from your hot shooter and you would have some untimely turnovers.... just sayin
And Durant has been choking in the last 2 4th QTRs ... Klay and Curry should've been the ones with the ball in their hands. Klay is so damn dangerous when he's in rhythm, it just boggles my mind he had only 14 shots. If the Warriors lose this series, I wonder if he will leave.
I hope so. I just want a more balanced league. The NFC in the NFL is the optimal situation for the NBA, but the NBA feels like the warriors are the Patriots.
you really think its rigged huh? I mean after all of those blowouts it does seem weird that every game is much closer now ... both games will go to 7 and generate hella revenue
