We are second in the world in manufacturing companies to China. We have 1/4 of their population. 2nd in total revenue also. It may make no sense but try and start up a manufacturing company in China and than lets talk. Corporate taxes are way to high but are easily avoided by C corps who can offshore profits and do. Personal taxes are relatively low. Regulation is a joke. We are over regulated and under enforced. See the collapse of the entire economy back in 07 to see why. Wells Fargo board did absolutely nothing to reign in their management. I agree we don't need more regulation we need more guys in jail. Where we do need regulation is on the environment. It's clear we need a carbon tax. I hope you enjoyed deep water Horizon and the fact that many of our towns are pumping polluted water into peoples home. The idea that we don't need regulation is stupid. We absolutely need regulations on businesses. I do agree that higher individual taxes will be very bad for small businesses. It's really to bad that Trump is going to mean a Democratic Congress and President. It would have been much better to have a Democratic President with a Republican Congress. Say goodbye to the Senate and maybe the house. By the way I have employees and the worst States are Republican dominated States who are continually harassing me for payroll tax issues of the 7 dollar variety. I'm thinking of getting rid of some employees in those States because I'm tired of their threatening notices. FYI I use ADP. I have employees in MA and never hear shit. It's good old Georgia and Alabama.
