The reason why Tunsil is being treated like he has the plague right now has more to do with how strict the NFL drug policy is than the weed smoking itself. Teams don't want to invest a first round pick and deal with the headache of multiple suspensions. Tunsil can thank Gordon for paving the way.
I am so fucking glad we didn't have cell phones when I was a teenager. I would have been in some deep shit.
I agree weed is mostly harmless and not a big deal. Right or wrong it is still against the law and the NFL(private business) rules. I just don't get the lack of awareness of knowing the nfl hardline stance yet still doing it. I think if a business that told me they would at me millions of dollars over a 5-7 year period and all I had to do is not smoke weed, I wouldn't smoke weed. I don't get how these guys can't/won't stop. When you retire with millions in the bank you can smoke all the weed you want.
Taking a surgical case like Jack is very risky. They're talking about him needing a round of micro-fracture surgery now because the ligaments are coming away from the bone. That's really bad.
with me, the problem isn't the weed, it's his stupidity to let himself be filmed, or at the very least, only allow himself to have possession of that video
Yeah, that's scary. Sounds like another potential Jaylon Smith. I feel so bad for these guys. They'd be top 4-5 players in the whole draft if healthy.
ESPN reported all the teams knew about the video already. If it was a no brainer picking him why is he falling like a rock? Mac can't gamble on him I would think
I'm not worried about weed, hell, Tunsil might straight up murder the guy who did this and end up in prison.
