Hopefully they can build on this season. These late meaningful games should pay dividends for the young guys like Richardson and Lydon. Cuse needs help in the paint.
I have no clue about around the country, but I can tell you that I have lived in the middle of the Triangle since 2002 and when I first moved to NC I managed a Home Depot almost equidistant from both campus. From my experience and interactions, there is no comparison between the two fan bases. UNC fans are assholes -- Duke fans are not. Disclaimer - I am not much of a BB fan, bit do watch some MM and have no allegiance to any NCAA team in any sport, I watch just for entertainment.
Everyone here is virtually obligated to root for Villanova. The only excuse not to would be if you actually attended Chapel Hill (or perhaps if one were a member of the faculty).
