They'll never be another Jets player to spot the jersey #24 after Darrelle Revis. It'll be retired within the Ring of Honor.
Jamie Henderson Safety 2001-2003. He crashed his motorcycle in the offseason and suffered career ending injuries
Erik McMillan DB 1988-1992. His career was a strange one thats for sure. DROY and all-pro his first 2 seasons, then relegated to spot duty the next 2 years and out of the league completely a year or so after. He was a headcase and did get quite a few lucky INTs those 1st 2 years. Still a strange career.
What a character. Such an easy guy to fall in love with at first... and then what? Was he just in the right spot at the right time for a few picks early on, as you suggested? Or was he a head case? Were his problems off the field or on? How can you go from all-pro to out of the league so quickly, in your prime, without being injured? Will we ever have the answers to these questions? I need an oral history from his teammates and coaches.
Victor Green a heck of a safety. Came here as an undrafted FA in 1993 and became an ironman. He didn't miss a game from 1996-2001
Unfortunately all I remember Victor for was giving up that 47 yard pass to Mccaffrey to start the 2nd half of 1998 AFC Championship Game
Matt -that has got to be the all time record right? Also- it appears the bronco player touched it so does that mean it wasnt even a touchback?
Richie Anderson. Long time Fullback here. I'll always remember his long touchdown in that awesome wild card win vs. Indy. Hard to believe we are going on 14 years and that was our last home playoff game.
