Sager used to get on the nerves of my friends just because of the suits, but I liked him a lot because he was the ultimate straight man trying to ask real questions, not the jackass inflammatory questions most of them wanted to ask. He was a guy who acted like the ultimate professional, but also invited ridicule, and that was a pretty cool paradox. Plus, yeah I'm a Spurs fan, and Pop had so many funny moments with him, but as much as Pop hated the press and those stupid halftime interviews, he really liked Craig. Sad to see him go.
I don't usually criticize Gregg Popovich, but he needs to find more opportunities to get Dejounte Murray into the game. Every time I see this kid on the court, I'm on the edge of my seat. I've seen fast players before, but this guy is lightning. He needs minutes. Also, fuck the Clippers. Fucking team gets calls like they're the Harlem Globetrotters. I guess it'll make their first round exit more enjoyable, but aside from Chris Paul, they are a huge one-dimensional team that the refs treat like royalty.
Calling Danny Ainge, Olynyk and a non Brooklyn 1st rounder for Bogut. Celtics get a Center that can block shots and get some rebounding, for the love of god.
Tsk tsk Russy beans a ref in the head with the ball. I guess he thought there were seconds left in the 4th quarter.
The Nets need to find a trade partner for Brook Lopez and continue this rebuild. They've already held on to him for too long. OKC could be a fit in a 7-footer that can shoot 3's and stretch the floor. Not sure if they need another scoring center that doesn't play defense (Kanter). I still can't believe they made that Celtics trade years back and Deron Williams turned out to be as bad as he was. They likely won't be good for another five years so what's the point in holding on to Brook? What a disaster for a franchise in a new arena.
That's like his 11th tech on the season, isn't it? And he actually had 2 rescinded or it'd be more. It's not even the break yet. You guys starting to understand why it's hard for some people to appreciate the good stuff he does? I'd love to just hate him for being such a great player, but he just makes that easy to ignore that by acting like one of the biggest douchebags the league has ever seen.
I don't know if any player-centric team would be interested in a guy that's been in more posters this year than Luke Skywalker in the early 80s.
Yeah it is his 11th. He gets heated sometimes. It's still not as annoying as when they're down 3, or 4 and he decides to just shoot a 30 foot shot
I wonder if he's going to be able to maintain this 30/10/10 pace especially at nearly 43% from the field. He has to be the MVP regardless of where they finish in the West if he does, yes?
