Lakers lost tonight to an awful Mavericks team. BTW, lol @ Mark Cuban. You expect these kind of losses though for such a young team. Really dying to see something out of Ingram. Still early but I want to win my future.

I think I have seen an offensive rebound from a foul shot maybe once or twice a season. Celtics have given one (or more) up in their previous 4 games. Their rebounding is beyond atrocious.

Apples & Oranges. 53 players on an NFL roster and 10 games. Maybe 13 players on an NBA roster and 44 games, and only 5 of those make any real money. It's real simple, the CBA splits the revenue by formula and the GM's have a budget to spend. NBA Formula = 49-50% to players, ~4% per roster spot NFL Formula = 47-48% to players, <1% per roster spot We're talking about a 2% pay raise split across 53 guys at best if the NFL goes to NBA levels.

I think it's interesting to see the backgrounds on coaches & athletes (like MSG beginnings), but they really need to stay out of politics

He tried. The guy that got him to talk almost pleaded with him, and he finally gave in. I kind of agreed with a lot of what he said, but he's also influenced by the world he lives in. He's an NBA coach.
And Belichick is an NFL coach and Tom Brady is a starting QB. Didn't stop either from supporting Trump, which they really shouldn't have

Nice pickup. I was a big fan of the pick over Okafor and it looked like it was the wrong pick early last year but things are looking much better now. What a difference a good coach makes for the team though. I wasn't even thinking playoffs at the start of the season, was thinking like 35 wins at best. It's still a long shot but it's nice being in the race anyway.
I would like to see LA do well. They have a good young core. I have been expecting a relatively decent season.
Yep. Randle and Russell look great so far. Have to be patient with Ingram. Great young coach. Much better than the last dingleberry who would fold his arms on the sideline and just say "Man Up" How about the Clippers though? 10-1. I mean they won't win anything anyway but it's funny to see their fans get their hopes up.
