I didn't forget.. I just don't have Chris Paul in my top 10 anymore. Probably top 15. There's a nice grip of PG's I'd take over the old under-achieving Chris Paul at this point, that's just me though. And as far as Boogie he's in the final year of his contract.. if it's not working out there he could easily be on his way out.. They will rather get something in return than miss the playoffs and lose him for nothing. They were under .500 since acquiring him last season and we all know how he feels about losing. Add Reggie Jackson to that mix? yikes. On the flipside this could be OKC's last run if everybody bolts... Presti could and should be going all out right now to go out with a bang. And who knows... like PG said, if it's a killer season... they'd be dumb to leave! We could have all 3 (Russ,PG,Boogie) of their bird rights and be a "super team", capable of fighting off the warriors.
I've been a Melo hater since the days when he played for the orange peels and they were doing his homework for him. I think he's a selfish prick who's allergic to playing defense.... But why should the Knicks trade him now for what would amount to be pennies on the dollar from Houston? No matter what they are going to get fleeced here
I disagree. The Knicks are the winners in any trade if they can get rid of Melo as long as they get back expiring contracts. The only way they can lose is if they do like they did with the Ewing trade and get back multi-year contracts that they kept parlaying into more multi-year deals for players nobody wanted.
I just hope the Knicks can get picks out of the whole ordeal. Taking on Anderson's contract would be a fail. That's why they need 3 or 4 teams to get this done.
The Lakers are already looking much smarter with Magic running the team. They have improved quite a bit, unless injuries bite the C's aren't seeing their pick.
The lights are on but nobody's home in the Knicks front office lol. ANybody spot a difference in who cares more about who plays on their team??? Rangers sign little known European Draft Pick to $1M/year contract: Knicks sign Hardaway Jr. to $71M contract: "thanks microphone guy, but where's Mills?"
It's amazing that they gave him a no-trade clause. I believe when he signed the deal he was one of only four players to have one. The other three were Kevin Garnett, Dirk and Kobe. Now he's the only one. This isn't the sport to give out no trade clauses in.
facts! I think a west team wouldn't pick until after pick 6 if there was no lottery. The west is that much stronger than the east. The bottom teams in the west looking like LAL, Suns, & Memphis.. and I bet they finish with at least 30 wins or something close to it. Boston can kiss that pick goodbye.

haha that's great! Cleveland should actually appease Kyrie here. Lebron's leaving next offseason anyway so they will be left with nothing. They could get anything they wanted if they traded Lebron. Lebron's got a no trade clause but he's headed to LA Lakers next year anyway so he'd probably waive it with them. I'd say call up the Lakers, tell them congraulations you can have Lebron for that Ingram kid and anything else you can pile on for us. Kyrie-Ingram +pieces is a hell of alot better then where they'll end up after the season with whatever they get for kyrie and lebron leaves them holding their dicks
Agreed, but the money matches close enough I think. Hardest part about An NBA deal is making the money match
So bizarre, and yeah I'm with Lebron as viewing this as a kind of betrayal to him. Kyrie must just hate playing in a dead end loser city like Cleveland Cavs have absolutely no obligation to move him though but this news will really shake things up in the NBA
Unless LeBron gives them some guarantee he will stay, they should absolutely trade him and keep Kyrie. But I'd love to see a Kylie for Melo trade, then watch LeBron abandon his buddy next year.
