Lance Thomas just resigned with the Knicks on an early exception deal. This bench is looking much better!
The Knicks' backup PG is better than the starting PG from last year. I love it! They finally have good perimeter D on both the bench and the starting line up now. That is going to be a huge plus for next year. I'm still hoping in the back of my mind that Derick Williams comes back but I feel he'll get paid more than we can offer. Sign him and Porzingis' center buddy and we have a team!
Saw this on Twitter earlier from Broussard saying the Knicks should call OKC and offer KP STRAIGHT up for Westbrook. Only way you even consider it is if he resigned obviously
There's a good chance knicks can get westbrook next year and keep kp. Also they would have to give rose too. No room for him westbrook and Jennings. Ftr i would do it in a heartbeat. Just stating what the knicks might be thinking
I heard him on the radio talking about that today and he sounded like a blithering idiot. All he could say is that he hasn't seen enough Porzingis and he might one day be Dirk. But since we don't know for sure that he's an all star, we should give him up for Westbrook. LMAO. Not only can they NOT squeeze him under the cap, OKC would never agree to it plus we already have Derick Rose for the year. It's a dumb idea. Trading away draft picks before you know what they are capable of is why the Knicks have been rebuilding for the last 8 years. We finally hit on a pick and he wants us to just throw it away before he fully develops? Hell no. No more trades. Knicks should wait until next off season to weigh the options.
Yeah I wouldn't make the trade either. I would be more satisfied keeping what we have so far for the year and then letting rose walk and try to make a serious push for Russell in 2017
Sports talk is an industry either filled with the biggest liars who will say anything to bring attention to themselves or the biggest idiots.
Oh for sure. I listen to it all day while I'm at work. I just thought it was an interesting idea since Westbrook is definitely not staying in OKC
