he can go to Europe and still make a bunch of money over there. Maybe not that much but he'll still make a lot.
Pacers quietly having one of the best off-seasons so far + Jeff Teague + Al Jefferson on a friendly contract + Paul George back to form + Thaddeus Young - Lost Frank Vogel, but still have a solid coach in Nate McMillan Should pass Toronto in terms of overall talent.
And its a significant improvement, so pumped for this season Better conditioned KP, Melo coming off Olympic glory, Derrick Rose playing for a contract, Noah the real coming home to NYC, Hernangomez coming over from Spain, and knicks aren't finish signing guys. This will be a fun team to watch
I smoke real good stuff man. Work sends me to Colorado every month or so and I smoke the best stuff there. Pretty soon it will be legalized in VT so I won't have to go far to get it. Anyway I put $50 on the Spurs and $50 on the Warriors, I do not think he will sign with OKC but let's see. Gambling is fun!
Dwight Howard is in the perfect situation. No pressure, he doesn't have to play defense, expected to be a first round exit and can demand the ball all he wants on a terrible average team. I understand they have Schroeder but the Hawks acted like it's a terrible thing to have two solid guards, in a market that's starving for assist first point guards. What a terribly run franchise.
Horford to Boston 4years 113M. Solid player but man that's a lot of money. I guess that's what solid players make now in this new cap age.
I'd be a lot more comfortable giving him $28 mill/year than giving Parsons $24mill/year or Kent Bazemore $17.5mill/year. I guess some of these teams have to give contracts like that to average players knowing KD/LeBron type superstars aren't coming to Atlanta, Minnesota, etc. It's ridiculous though. I like Conley a lot as a player but I believe he just signed the highest paid contract per year in American sports history. He makes less money/year than Ronaldo, Messi, Giancarlo Stanton and that's about it. Ridiculous.
Most of these contracts are fucking mind-boggling, and the fact that they are setting the market almost guarantees that neither GSW nor SAS is getting Durant. If the Spurs make a move for any player worth a shit, it'll probably be Gasol, but even that's a long shot.
Gasol is the perfect player for the offense but that leaves them in a bad position defensively in the paint when him & Aldridge are on the court together. Wouldn't be a huge problem vs. GS with Kawhi's elite perimeter defense, but if Durant returns to OKC, he and Westbrook would feast on a Pau/Aldridge combo defending the post. I'd also see Adams & Kanter bullying them around. For the sake of the West being at least a 3 team race instead of a one team championship cruise, I'm really hoping Durant goes to OKC. He puts so much pressure on himself and the Spurs/Warriors if he goes there, basically guaranteeing this season to be championship or bust.
