another year gone by....another year I haven't been able to watch a full NBA game.. Imma hit the drunk thread..
As background, Jarryd is a top AFL player, had a melanoma removed from his lip last year played a few weeks later, injured his knee in pre season which delayed his start, had a check up for his cancer issue and discovered it came back on his lungs. he has a tough road ahead nice job of bogut getting tickets which will rare as hens teeth NBA star Andrew Bogut has reached out to Jarryd Roughead by organising the Hawk rare tickets to the championships to raise his spirits. Roughead will fly out today so he can see game five of the NBA finals clash between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Hawthorn forward has a chance to witness history as Bogut and the Warriors pursue back-to-back NBA championships in the pivotal clash in Oakland on Tuesday. Moments after the Warriors stepped off court with a crucial win yesterday, Bogut told the Sunday Herald Sun he wanted to help basketball fan Roughead ease his mind. “It’s good for him, I think he just probably wants to tick some things off his bucket list and take his mind away from things,’’ Bogut said. “It’s hard to say but you never know how these things can go and to go and do what he has to do, you never want your worst enemy to go through it.’’ Essendon fan Bogut revealed that fellow Australian basketballer Joe Ingles, who is a friend of Roughead’s, sought him out to cheer up the four-time premiership star. “Obviously he’s had a pretty dismal time so Joey reached out and we got him a few tickets which are not easy to get,’’ he said. Bogut said he was yet to speak to Roughead but was looking forward to having another Aussie in the stands as he chased a second championship ring alongside NBA champ Steph Curry. “Even though he’s a Hawker and they pummelled us (Essendon) by 100, you never want to see anyone go through that,’’ Bogut said. “It’s a pretty tough thing that he’s going through. Hopefully he enjoys it and has a good time.’’
What the Hell ? Obviously the NBA doesn't want the playoffs to end tonight. Green was doing too good of a job covering Lebron, so they suspend him. That's chicken crap !
Incase anyone needed further proof of how big a joke the NBA is. Trying their hardest to make this a series. Cavs went from a 5 percent chance of winning Game 5 to about a 35 percent chance now. To take that moment away from Green though is a disgrace. Especially when golden boy LeBron initiated the situation.
If the Cavs by chance win game 5 they have to bait the shit out of Green in 6 to get him tossed for 7.
That'll be easy. He can't seem to stop getting in everyone's face and bitching after every call. Sent from my BLU LIFE ONE X using Tapatalk
All stars need help. I think the Lakers just played some better teams in the West. I think the Celtics and Pistons both excellent teams obviously, but the Lakers had to play far superior teams in the Kings, Jazz Spurs and Blazers. These 4 teams IMO were better then the Celtics and Pistons. I still think Kobe is the far better player. If I had to choose Lebron v Kobe to win me a series, there is no doubt I would choose Kobe. Lebron just doesn't have that killer instinct. The Lakers don't beat the Pacers btw without Kobe Bryant winning game 4 on the road when Shaq fouled out. 76ers and Nets were awful final teams IMO. I always considered the WCF the real finals. The thing about Lebron, it's just doesn't make his teammates individually better, he makes the team better but not the individuals, where-as I think Kobe demanded greatness from players and I think that rose their games individually.
What is the current rule on traveling. How many steps does a player have to take in order to be called for traveling? 3...4...5 ??? Lebron James just started at the back of the key and took four steps to the basket for a layup.
Might as well ask what the current rule on offensive holding is for NFL because it's the same thing - they only call it when it's convenient and doesn't affect superstars.
