seriously, not every QB is great post 30, but I think thats just because those that aren't were never that great to begin with. Theres a plenty of NFL QB's that were good in their late twenties that continued to play high quality ball WELL into their thirties, you don't even need to look far to see that. 30 years old is not a tipping point for QB's. RB's? Sure. QB's? hell no. We're gonna see tenured QB's like A-Rod, B Roth, Rivers, Brees play well into their thirties, and they won't suck for quite a while.
You clearly insinuated that Kelly made Foles and Seattle D made Wilson then you said both teams would be fine without them yet the Colts would be having a number one draft pick without Luck. That equates you to giving Foles and Wilson little credit and rating Luck much above them. Got it?
Nope. Rodgers is over the hill don't you know. Easy Jets victory. We better get it going cuz we only have a few more years until Geno is old, and past his prime.
Foles has actually been the best so far. 27-2 last year. Why does he get no love? Or automatically decided it's ridiculous to wonder if he's better than Luck?
Rodgers is more of a game manager now, well he will get labeled as one once the coaching staff realizes that they have to carry him.
If you some how are serious, then idk how i can take you as such anymore.. . cuz that is one of the most idiotic, off base opinions I've ever read.
That's some bad reading comprehension and math. You inferred incorrectly that I thought Kelly and the Seattle D "made" Foles and Wilson respectively. Never said their respective teams would "fine" without them but did express that they would be in much better shape than Indy without Luck. Do you disagree?
yep, show that season wasn't an aberration and he'll be more respected the league over (well expcept for those who will chalk his success up to kelly's system). lol, wut?
Why do you fabricate positions to argue against? No one said it's ridiculous to "wonder" if he's better than Luck, even though you weren't really wondering. Preferring Luck over him doesn't means he's not loved…lol.
2009-present is why he's considered elite. Also once he went down we saw how bad GB was. 2009: 30 TD, 7 INT, 1.3 INT %, 8.7 AY/A, 103 passer rating 2010:28 TD, 11 INT, 2,3 INT %, 8.4 AY/A, 101 passer rating (SB) 2011: 45 TD, 6 INT, 1.2 INT%, 10.5 AY/A, 122 passer rating (MVP, All Pro 1st team) 2012: 39 TD, 8 INT, 1.4 INT%, 8.5 AY/A, 108 passer rating 2013: 17 TD, 6 INT, 2.1 INT %, 9.0 AY/A, 104 passer rating (hurt) That plus the eye test, he's up there, well deserved too.
Were in a world of hurt if we lose this game facing the Lions in Detroit the next week. We could already be looking at a lost season.
I agree we will go run heavy against GB. I think that's why we only had 23 carries between Ivory and CJ. We needed to make sure they would be ready and healthy for week 2 when we need them to go crazy. I would also expect to see Powell getting in there more than once.
It's almost impossible to replicate last season's numbers. He should be happy with doing enough to keep Sanchez on the bench.
I don't disagree with that specific point because I believe also the eagles and Seahawks have a better team overall. It's a non point in the discussion though because discussion is about who is the best QB, not which has a better team around them.
