...and we look to have a strong middle run game. Thomas Jones was good. Chris Ivory is beyond. 222 lbs. of full metal jacketed ballistic mayhem Ivory & CJ are gonna win us games on the back half. We got it good.
The obvious game plan should be to run the ball as much as we can to keep the clock moving and limit Rodgers possesions. The three headed Monster in Ivory,Powell and CJ need to win this game for us
I could see a San Diego playoff game situation from 2009 where we smash them to submission But I fear their O- line will hold just long enough for a few big plays, combined with a Geno pick and we could lose by 20 I'm hoping for the former
This was 5 days ago. Chances are they both play, although who knows. I don't know what it means to pass the first protocol of concussion testing. How many are there?
Ive checked Packers message board and they all thinking they gonna blow us out lol. And some of them dont even know Mo wilkerson xd
Lacy will play. Not that it will matter with our front 7.. As for Bulaga, he is out. (3-4 weeks) ~ Not trying to sound sour, but I'm quite surprised pretty much nobody has asked me anything so far. I mean who else here has seen every Aaron Rodgers game ever?
Hahaha. Awesome Okay. I am asking you my first question. Is Rodgers any good when teams push his O Line around?
Typically he is quick footed enough to escape, but if a team with more overall depth comes up, he can be flustered, as opposed to looking out for 1 main guy.
I doubt they take us for granted: http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...-Defense/5af139ab-2461-4d40-bec8-e96bf45aa6c1 When it comes to NFL defense, we are the one. At least in Week 1. With Monday night's results and yardage figures in, the Jets have checked in with a rare trifecta — the defense after the 19-14 Sunday win over Oakland, is ranked first in rushing defense, first in passing defense and first in total defense. Not to mention No. 1 in rushing offense.
Here is what i wonder, are the gb wr's that much better than the raiders or does rodgers just make them look like it?
Nelson is very legit. Cobb is explosive, but inconsistent, Boykin is decent, but average more so. There is great depth, and upside in the overall wr roster, but that's another conversation. As for this game, it's all up to pressure. If we get there with consistency, GB might be able to be held under 21. Chicago, and Detroit probably have a slightly better receiving group though, but not the better qb. Either way you put it, the front 7 needs to play to their potential in this stretch, because it probably won't take long for our coverage to be exposed.
As someone with long hair who hates extreme heat, it sure has been great. I'm just worried it'll be winter for 7 months any second now.
this is not the same packers team from yesteryear ... jennings, driver, nelson, james jones, and finley was a hell of a receiving corps. now that rodgers and jordy are getting paid at market level, they no longer have that kind of depth with their pass catchers ... they are trying to become a more balanced offense with lacy taking some of the load off of the passing game we will probably be in a lot of big nickel in this game ... shade a safety to nelsons side, zone the middle of the field to slow down cobb, stop the run with a standard 7 in the box ... boykin is solid but thats the kind of player that you have to make beat you, if he does, so be it. outside of those three, none of their pass catchers scare me. i have no idea what devante adams has done so far tho both of their lines are weak sauce so we should be able to dominate in the trenches (refs, they will be holding so call that shit!) ... run the ball and stay in rodgers back pocket if we were at home i would favor the jets ... this should be a close game, limit turnovers and we have a good shot to win this the nfc north is overrated as fuck ... good (and highly paid) QBs, bad overall teams
Can our DLine get to Rodgers before our CB's get beat by Nelson/Cobb? Can we control the clock via the running game? Keeping the ball out of Aaron Rodgers hands as much as we can. Can Geno play mistake free football? Cant fumble on the one. It wasnt an easy catch by any means, but Salas has to come down with that ball in Green Bay. If the answers to all 3 questions are yes, we win. Hopefully that is the case.
I worry about Cobb having a big day. He seems like the sneaky and speedy slot receiver that just kills Rex's defenses even with healthy secondarys
