Hope they are just taking precautions with Pryor and having him sit out.

I don't have you in mind when I say this but I think that many don't understand what an open or fair competition is all about. They look at it as if everyone has to get the same number of turns with each unit. That's not the case. An open competition would (and should) likely have front runners who are going to get more opportunities in better situations.

And yes this is perfectly fair. For instance, what has Boyd done to warrant as many first team reps as Geno. Now I realize that you probably think that using Boyd in the example is silly because you have Geno vs Vick in mind. Well I merely did it because comparing Geno to Boyd is an easier example to see.

I agree with your post and I feel that there should be a frontrunner who gets more reps. Having Geno as the front runner makes the most sense because he's younger than Vick and Vick is a well understood commodity. I was weary that the Jets signed Vick to make him the starter. I'm relieved to see that it doesn't appear to be the case.

No news _ or sight _ on Calvin Pryor yet. Since #Jets don't practice again until Tuesday, he'd have at least 2 days to rest.

Geno with a beautiful fade in corner of end zone to Nelson. (Wildon on coverage) but ref said Nelson didn't get two feet inbounds

Hopefully Amaro's injury isn't serious that would suck
